My 1st son switched from formula to whole milk @ 12 months with no trouble. But my younger son was not ready! He's not picky so he drank the whole milk (lactose-free) but it did a number on his tummy. I thought about keeping him on infant formula but it's not rally ment for toddlers. Since both my boys took the Good Start infant formlua I knew it was a brand I could trust. With Good Strat 2 my son could digest it with no problems. The taste was gross to me he did not care for it much either. My mother in-law told me about adding drop of dark corn syurp...(to cut/sweeten the gross taste and also its good for keeping children regular they used it back in the a lot she said) it made a ton of differance and it made it more creamy. I looked on the infant formula and it already has corn syurp in it so I fig. it wouldn't hurt to add a drop and the syurp is soo think a drop is plenty. She also told me I could use a drop of honey since he was a year old. Now my son chuges it right down! He's 14 months now and takes cows milk and Good Start 2 mixed together.
