Buying Similac Organic Powder, 25.7 Ounce Can (Pack of 6)

I wish I had read the reviews on this before picking it up at the grocery store - I had wrongfully assumed that the only thing that changed was using organic cow's milk. I was wrong. Our daughter has been having some evening colic, but now it happens at every mealtime since we switched to this formula. We feed her 70% breastmilk, and 30% formula. Since we switched from regular Similac to the organic version, she screams shortly after we start bottle feeding her, and it takes a half hour at least to get her to finish a bottle - she's still hungry but she just doesn't want it. She's also MUCH gassier since we switched. I knew there were going to be problems when I mixed up the first bottle and it was gritty, leaving a grainy residue all through the bottle (hard to get out of the nipples if it dries in there), and in the baby's mouth. Like another reviewer, I also tried several different temperatures - cold, room temp, warm, hot - nothing dissolved the grittiness. If that many solids are in her system, no wonder she's fussy and has digestive issues. I gave this product 2 stars because it does its job - nourishing the baby - but only barely because she won't take it easily and I wonder what she's NOT getting since it doesn't all dissolve.Get more detail about Similac Organic Powder, 25.7 Ounce Can (Pack of 6).
